...oh give me a home, where the ICBM's used to roam...
Atlas Launch Site
The Atlas Site has a 12,000 ft AGL waiver and due to the layout of this site, can accommodate A through K impulse class rocket motors.
Driving is only permitted on marked roads in the National Grassland. Dogs, cats, llamas, and other domestic pets are not allowed at NCR Launches (even if they are leashed and trained to not spit).
Directions: If you are coming from Ft. Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Boulder or the northern suburbs of Denver, the quickest route to the launch site is to take I-25 to Colorado Hwy 14 at Ft. Collins. Take CO 14 east to Ault (see regional map below). If you are coming from Greeley, Ft. Lupton, or Brighton, make your way to Ault via US 85. From the intersection of CO 14 and US 85, proceed east on CO 14 for 20.3 miles. Shortly after you pass Rd 71 on your right, there will be a gate on your left. Go through and close the gate. Follow the paved road for about 2/3 miles to the north. Just after this road turns west, find yourself a place to park (see site map below). You have found us.
